NORDIWA Nordic Drinking Water Conference
FIWA, DANVA, Norsk Vann, Samorka and Svenskt Vatten welcome water professionals, experts and practitioners, managers and operators, city planners, researchers, engineers, advisors and others with an interest in drinking water in the Nordic region to the NORDIWA Drinking Water Conference in Stockholm 16-18 September 2026.
Call for abstracts
The Programme Committee is pleased to invite all water professionals with an interest in drinking water, water supply and related innovations to submit abstracts for presentations related to the conference themes:
- Investing for the future
- Treatment and distribution
- Water quality and safety
- Climate change and resilience
- Contingency planning and water security

Conference Venue
The conference will be held at Clarion Hotel Stockholm, located on beautiful Södermalm in Stockholm. From Stockholm Central station it is only four stops away with the subway (Skanstull) and takes about 6 minutes. The hotel is located right beside the subway entrance.
Exhibition
An exhibition will be held in conjunction with the conference, offering excellent opportunities for visibility and networking with participants and industry colleagues.

Technical Tours
As part of the conference several technical tours will be organised. All tours take place on Thursday 17 September.
Social Program
A welcome reception will be held on Wednesday 16 September. The conference dinner will take place at the conference venue on Thursday 17 September.
